Cheerleaders
Coaches and quarterbacks can take the credit for being leaders on the field,
but the game wouldn't be the
same without the 12th man (or woman). Cheerleaders or pep clubs get the crowd
going with cheers
and chants, but sometimes the roar of the crowd is all it takes to get a player
going. The roar was
unbelievable as Park Ridge
(Maine South)
beat Chicago (Hubbard)
in double OT in the first week of 2000.
