Stewart, Warriors Sprint Past Bunnies

  On a rainy Saturday night, the Tuscola Warriors continued their undefeated with a big win over the Fisher Bunnies.

  After a Fisher punt on their first drive, Tuscola used its speed to charge down the field. Curtis Stewart capped off the drive with a 5 yard touchdown run. Clayton Meyer added the extra point to put the Warriors on top 7-0 early in the first.

  The rest of the first went by scoreless, but Stewart struck again, this time on a 15 yard touchdown run. The PAT was no good this time, leaving Tuscola up 13-0 with 10:18 left in the half.

  Fisher could never really move the ball against the Warriors. The inside runs never got a jump start. Tuscola used that to their advantage and after forcing another Bunny punt, Stewart tacked on his third touchdown of the game on a 5 yard touchdown run. The Warriors went into halftime with a nice 20-0 lead.

  The second half was much the same. Tuscola finished the game off with a 33-0 shutout of the underrated Fisher Bunnies. This sets up a battle next week as, now 12-0, Tuscola will take on fellow undefeated Cambridge who defeated powerhouse Deer Creek-Mackinaw 41-6 earlier today.
