Week #6 vs.Richmond (R.-Burton)(6-0)
10/1/2005

A swarm of Hornets take down Richmond's Jamie Finley, in the backfield, including Tito Santiago (6), who was one of the few Harvard players to have a good day in their 48-0 loss to the Rockets.

Roberts Helps, In Homecoming Romp

Richmond - Nate Roberts ran, passed & had an interception for a touchdown in a game where the Rockets made a huge statement about their dominance in the Big Northern (Red) .

The Harvard Hornets came into todays game looking like a formidable foe. At 4-1 on the season, Harvard was hoping to possibly play spoiler to the Rockets hopes of an undefeated season & the conference title, but Roberts and the rest of the Rockets would fire off from the luaching pad and leave the Hornets stuck on the ground.

Roberts (QB/DB 6'1 175 jr.) would help bring bring Harvard back to ground with a quick lesson in gravity in the first quarter, showing Harvard QB Travis Kurth, that what goes up must come down, as he picked off a pass around the Harvard 20 and ran it back for a TD midway through the 1st quarter.

Roberts' other TDs would come in the 3rd, when he rushed for a 39 yarder & passed to Ross McAbee for a 19 yard score.

The Hornets seemed to be the ones that were getting buzzed around, as the Rockets stung them early and often in their own backfield. Big plays from Nick Jorgensen (DL 6'2 190 sr.) on defense, including a fumble recovery in the 3rd help sustain the Rockets shutout.

Brian Klingenberg ability to make it down field quickly on the kickoff after McAbee's touchdown, got the Rockets the ball back again with just under 7 minutes left in the 3rd. Setting up a drive that was capped off by a Jake Blanton 5 yard TD run, setting the clock running and the Rockets soaring.
