Tirgers Rush For 3 TDs In 1st Half

Rock Falls - The trio of Pete Oehlman, Matt Warner and Mike Carlson where at it once again with the running game as the Tigers continue their winning ways.

Sherrard jumped on board first with a Pete Oehlman 5 yard TD run in the first quarter. In the second quarter Matt Warner scored on a 2 yard TD run in the second and Mike Carlson added a 1 yard TD run. The Tigers added three points from the leg of Brandon Miller with a 25 yard FG as Sherrard took a 23-0 half time lead.

Sherrard could not break the goal line the rest of the evening, but Rock Falls' only touchdown came late in the fourth.

While the Tigers need at least 3 more wins before they can even think about the playoffs. This is a much different start for Sherrard. At this time last season they were 0-2. The Tigers have already matched their win total from the 2003 when they finished 2-7.
