Bio: Had 39 tackles with two interceptions, two blocked kicks and a fumble recovery as a defensive back, caught 38 passes for 604 yards his senior year at Hinsdale South (school record for receptions & yards in a season). Was team MVP senior year. He finished his career with 70 tackles and three interceptions, while making 53 catches for 723 yards and rushing for 321 yards. Kasper played in 44 career games and started in 21 for Iowa. Where he is the schools all-time receptions leader with 157, he ranks fourth on the career receiving yards chart (1,974). |
Pro Career: Picked in the 6th round 2001 NFL Draft (190th overall) by the Denver Broncos. Waived by Denver in 2002. Was picked up by Seattle then, aquired by Arizona on waivers in 2002. Was primarily used as a kick returner. Picked up by New England in 2004, but was listed as not active for their Super Bowl XXXIX game. Played in one game with the Detroit in 2006. |
