New Head Coaches Step In (8/20/2007)
The 2007 high school football season is already underway as practice started on the 8th. And while a new group of seniors is expected each season, there will be at least 85 schools in Illinois with a new head coach at the helm. (Read more...)

2007 Team Preview; Metamora 8/23/07
Metamora’s head coach Pat Ryan, knows what pretty much every fan of high school football in Illinois knows, “In 5A everybody is chasing Scared Heart. And rightfully so… They’re the team to beat right now.” While the bad news is; Scared Heart-Griffin is still the team to beat. The good news is, at least for the Redbirds, not as many teams will be looking at them.

Okaw Valley(Blue) Conference Preview (8/21/2007)
Central Illinois prep football fans are certainly in for a treat this upcoming fall. After years of a conference comprised of ten teams known as the Okaw Valley Conference, the conference has gone forth with a new plan of splitting the small school powerhouse conference into two separate divisions, the Okaw Valley Black and Blue. Not only should this new change give rise to even more competitive football this fall, but more importantly it should see some new matchups that should provide fans with big hits as well as big thrills. Batavia's Volunteers Make Season a Success Already (8/21/2007)

Seriously, fans of high school sports are the best source or information on any team. You just need to speak up and tell us about your team, because chances are they are as good as you think they are and we maybe that clueless, but don't challenge us to a game of Trivial Pursuit. (more...)
