Bio: Butch was the NFC Rookie of the Year in 1982. Woolfolk had held the NFL's single game rushing attempt mark at 43. Harold Butch Woolfolk attended Eastridge in 1976 & 1977 and moved to Westfield NJ in 1978. Played college ball at the University of Michigan, and was the Rose Bowl MVP 1981. |
Pro Career: Drafted in the first round by the N. Y. Giants in 1982. Woolfolk played in the NFL for 7 years, 3 with the Giants (1982-84), 2 with Houston (85-86) & then Detroit (87-88). Woolfolk finished 5th in receptions in 1985 with Houston. He rushed for 1923 yard in his NFL career, with 857 of those coming in 1983 in New York. |
