Danly's 3 TDs & 260 Passing

Downers Grove (South H.S.) - Scott Danly went 10 of 17 and passed for 260 yards with 3 TDs & 2 interceptions as the Tigers also got a 193 yards rushing & 2 TDs from Dan Dierking as they rolled over the Mustangs 35-7.

In a game that was delay shortly for lightning, there was no delay in the Tigers offense.

Wheaton Warrenville South was just 2 yards shy of 500 yards of offense on the day as John Wolfe & Mike Berttucci caught 3 TDs passes between them to help the Tigers stay undefeated.

Downers Grove South QB Drew Brudi passes for 208 yards as he went 18 of 34, but was unable to hook up with leading receivers Rick Loisi or T.J. Enright for a touchdown. Brudi was intercepted by Patrick Williams on his last throw of the day, a 4th & 14 play with 3 minutes left in the game.

The Tigers helped stop the Mustang's passing game on several plays by getting to Brudi before he could throw. Ty Hoffman had 2 of the 4 sacks on Brudi for the Tigers.
