8A Semi-Finals vs.Park Ridge

Hawks Go to State, For Third Straight Park Ridge (Wilson Field) - The Hawks are headed to the State Finals for the 3rd time in as many years and they did it after dispatching some very tough teams, including semi-final foe Hinsdale Central & their talented QB Brett Morse. Adam Fee, Anthony Borsellino, & Mark Sangerstrom all had TD receptions from Tyler Knight in Maine South's victory. Knight also ran for a 26 yard TD to put the Hawks on the board in the 1st and kicked a 43 yard field goal to close out the scoring for the day. Tobi Adeyemi got the lone Devil's TD on a 33 yard reception from Morse to tie the game up at 6-6 with :25 seconds left in the 1st half. Maine South's head coach Dave Ineserra was asked if he thought the third time would be the charm? "I hope so. You know, our focus through the playoffs has been on our team, not who we're playing.
