2004 State Finals Preview

The high school football season in Illinois has almost come to an end, as the last 16 teams left in the state via for their shot at glory. Eleven young men from each team will start their final game of the 2004 season no matter what the out come. Coaches will start looking towards next season instead of the next game after this weekend. And fans from all across the state will flock to Champaign in hopes of seeing their team crown the best of the best in their class.


Below is the list of all 8 finals games to be played out over the last weekend of the season. Each team has it's own unique story, but each story started somewhere on field somewhere in the state. And over the course of the following week leading up to the State Finals, will try to bring you all that you need to know about each one of those schools and their quest for a championship.
