Casper the unfriendly host helps A-J pull away

Anna - If last week the special teams and lost fumbles took the Carmi-White County Bulldogs out of the game in the week Two home loss against Newton, they kept them in the game at Anna tonight.

CWC QB Kevin Wolff set a new school record when he returned a punt back for a 96 yards for a touchdown late in the second quarter and had a 76 yard kickoff return in the Fourth quarter to set up a possible go ahead TD. The Anna line did not allow a yard and the Dogs had to turn the ball over.

The Wildcats held the Dogs to only 88 yards rushing and Wolff to no completions. Still, despite the anemic offense, the Bulldogs were still in the game late in the Fourth quarter, trailing 14-9. When it looked like Carmi still had a chance, running back Adam Casper, who was expected not to play due to a knee injury, rumbled off two touchdowns in the final minutes of the game. Helping the Wildcats to remain undefeated and coast to 30-9 victory. Casper picked up 118 yards on Five carries.
